Waterfalls of Suhi potok
About the location
At the end of Zadnja Trenta and at the end of the troughs, Suhi potok forms the Zapotoški Waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in the Triglav National Park. The stream has its source on the Zapotok alpine pasture at an altitude of 1385 meters and the twin-beam waterfall is up to 73 meters high. You can also find several other waterfalls at the end of the trough, including the 18-meter-high waterfall on the Suhi potok stream.
How to get to Zapotoški waterfalls?
On the Bovec – Vršič road turn left at the 49th serpentine. You can park near the Koča pri izviru Soče (Hut at the source of the Soča) or continue for another 2 km along a macadam road to a small parking lot.
